Manchester City v. Everton
Manchester City – the Premier League’s top scorers – have won 3 of their last 4 Premier League matches. Meanwhile, Everton haven’t lost since firing Marco Silva, and have won both of their games under Carlo Ancelotti. Of note – Manchester City have won their last 4 meetings with Everton; they’ve never won 5 straight top-flight games against the Toffees.
Norwich City v. Crystal Palace
While Norwich City managed a draw against Tottenham last time out, they still find themselves 6 points from safety and are without a win since before Thanksgiving. They’ll now welcome in Crystal Palace, who’ve lost just once in their last 7 matches. Still, don’t expect many goals from the Eagles – only Watford have scored fewer Premier League goals than Crystal Palace this season.
West Ham v. Bournemouth
David Moyes is back. After saving West Ham from relegation in 2017-18, Moyes has returned to the club as Manuel Pellegrini’s replacement. He’s now in charge of a Hammers team that have won just twice in their last 14 matches in all competitions. They host fellow strugglers Bournemouth on Wednesday – Eddie Howe’s men have lost 7 of their last 9 games.
Arsenal v. Manchester United
What a miserable season it’s been for Arsenal – they sit 12th at the turn of the year, 11 points outside the top-4, and have yet to win under new boss Mikel Arteta. Arsenal have lost their last 4 home games in all competitions; they’ve never lost 5 in a row at home. They’ll look to avoid that unwanted history on Wednesday against Manchester United, who have won 2 straight.
Liverpool v. Sheffield United
After dispatching Wolves at the weekend, the Premier League’s runaway leaders will now welcome Sheffield United to Anfield. Pick any stat you’d like: Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 36 Premier League matches, unbeaten in their last 50 Premier League home matches, and have won 17 straight Premier League home games. They’ll look to continue their dominance against surprise package Sheffield United, who are coming off a loss at Manchester City.
