Pocono Preview

Just last week in NASCAR Pick ‘Em, Eric from Arizona made all the right predictions for the New Hampshire Cup race and won $30,000.

Now, the Jackpot has reset to $10,000 for this weekend at Pocono.

Here are my picks:

STAGES

First stage (Byron, Keselowski, Larson or Truex Jr.)

PICK: William Byron. The Hendrick Motorsports driver has been excellent qualifier and needs stage points to shore up his playoff bid, so watch for him and crew chief Chad Knaus to start up front and stay there.

Second stage (Almirola, Blaney, Bowyer, Elliott)

PICK: Clint Bowyer. The Stewart-Haas Racing driver was strong at Pocono Raceway last month and among the four choices, he needs stage points the most for his shaky playoff bid.

Third stage (Ku Busch, Ky Busch, Harvick, Logano)

PICK: Kyle Busch. He has won at Pocono three times in the past four starts and is especially motivated off a disappointing performance at New Hampshire.

Top 3 Overall:

1. Kyle Busch. He’s been close to unbeatable at Pocono since 2017.

2. Erik Jones. Third here in June and is riding a hot streak into the playoffs.

3. Clint Bowyer. Took fifth a month ago at Pocono.
