Arsenal v. West Ham

North London will meet east London on Saturday, when Arsenal welcome in West Ham. This weekend’s London derby will also be a reunion of sorts, as Mikel Arteta will go head-to-head with his former boss David Moyes. Despite being unbeaten in their last 7 Premier League matches, Arsenal are still stuck in mid-table. West Ham would love to be in that position – even after their win over Southampton last weekend, the Hammers enter the weekend above the relegation zone only on goal difference.

Burnley v. Tottenham

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham have had a terrible few weeks – they’re winless in their last 4 matches across all competitions, and are fresh off being knocked out of the FA Cup by Norwich, a game in which there were problems both on and off the pitch. Spurs will look to get back to winning ways on Saturday at Burnley, who are unbeaten in their last 6 Premier League games.

Chelsea v. Everton

Carlo Ancelotti will return to Stamford Bridge on Sunday when his Everton team travel to Chelsea. And there waiting for him will be his former player Frank Lampard, with whom he won the double in 2009-10. Chelsea’s inconsistencies have continued – the Blues have won just once in their last 6 Premier League games, though they did beat Liverpool in the FA Cup on Tuesday. Everton meanwhile have been revitalized by Ancelotti – the Toffees still have eyes on potential European qualification.

Manchester United v. Manchester City

Crosstown rivals will meet again in Sunday’s 182nd Manchester Derby. It’s been an interesting fixture of late – given that the away team has won 6 of the last 7 meetings across all competitions, City would appear to have the advantage. However, United have gotten the better of Pep Guardiola’s men this season, winning 2 of the 3 matchups.

Leicester City v. Aston Villa

The Premier League weekend’s final game pits the East Midlands against the West Midlands. Leicester have seriously struggled over the last few months or so, yet they remain in 3rd place entering the weekend. Aston Villa meanwhile will need to erase the heartbreak of losing to Manchester City in the EFL Cup Final last weekend – Dean Smith’s men sit in 19th, 2 points from safety, and have lost 3 straight Premier League games.
