Brighton v. Manchester City

Manchester City won 5 of their 7 matches in all competitions since the restart, and have scored freely for the most part. Pep Guardiola’s side are looking to stay in good form as they have an eye on the Champions League, which resumes in August. Brighton, meanwhile, have lost each of their last 6 meetings against Man City, and have lost against the other 2 “big 6” sides they’ve faced since the restart.

Wolves v. Everton

Wolves have hit an uncharacteristic rough patch. After looking terrific in the opening matches of Project Restart, Nuno Espirito Santo’s team have suffered back-to-back goalless losses. They also have just 1 win in their last 9 meetings against Everton. As for the Toffees, Carlo Ancelotti has had a positive impact on Goodison Park. With that said, they’re winless in their last 2 matches as well.

Tottenham v. Arsenal

Harry Kane will have had this fixture circled on his calendar for a while. The Spurs striker has 10 goals in 10 career North London Derbies, the most goals in the Premier League history between these bitter rivals. Still, Spurs are struggling lately, as they have just 2 wins in their last 11 matches in all competitions. Arsenal, meanwhile, have shaken off the early rust and are unbeaten in their last 5 matches in all comps, including 4 wins. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been back in the goals, and youngster Bukayo Saka has been on fire since signing a new long-term deal.

Bournemouth v. Leicester

Things are starting to look desperate for Eddie Howe and the Cherries. Bournemouth are winless in their last 9 matches and sit 3 points from safety with 4 matches left this season. The visitors, Leicester City, were one of the country’s best teams for the first half of the season. They now find themselves struggling to keep hold of a top-4 spot after a run of 1 win in their last 5 league matches.

Manchester United v. Southampton

The league’s most in-form team welcome Southampton to Old Trafford. United’s high-flying front-3 of Rashford, Martial, and wonderkid Greenwood, plus Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba in midfield, have the Red Devils attacking like the days of Sir Alex Ferguson. They set a Premier League record as the first team to win 4 straight matches by 3 or more goals last time out and are showing no signs of slowing down. Southampton have looked good to be fair, with just 1 loss in 5 matches since the restart. Still, they have only 3 wins in their last 27 meetings against Manchester United in all comps.
