Arsenal v. Watford
Arsenal have just 1 win in their last 4 Premier League matches and are guaranteed to finish mid-table. As for Watford, this match is everything. Win and they’re safe... Lose, and relegation could be assured. They won’t be happy to see Arsenal on the opposing side, as they have just 2 wins in 13 Premier League meetings against the Gunners.
Chelsea v. Wolves
Chelsea enter this match the losers of a back-and-forth 8-goal affair at Liverpool on Wednesday. They need at least a point in this match to guarantee themselves Champions League football next season. The Blues will need to play cautiously, as their 54 goals conceded are the most among top-half teams. Wolves could lock up a Europa League spot with a win, and have looked strong since the restart with 5 wins in their 8 matches.
Leicester City v. Manchester United
Leicester and Manchester United go head-to-head in a match that will decide the top-4 picture for the Premier League. The Red Devils are in prime position – a draw and they’re in. Not to mention the fact that they have just 1 loss in their last 21 Premier League encounters against Leicester. The Foxes need a win to play in the Champions League for the second time in club history next season.
Manchester City v. Norwich City
Manchester City smashed Watford 4 goals to nil on Tuesday. Pep Guardiola’s side appear to be preparing themselves for another major title challenge next season after they were knocked off their perch by Liverpool. Norwich City, however, would need a real-life miracle to pull of an upset like they did in the reverse fixture back in September. Losers of 9 straight Premier League matches, with just 1 goal in that time, the Canaries have done little to argue that they don’t deserve to finish in last place.
Newcastle United v. Liverpool
Liverpool looked like Champions again on Wednesday, at least in attack. Their 5 goals against Chelsea were a reminder of what Jurgen Klopp’s rock and roll style football can produce. They take on Newcastle, who haven’t beaten the Reds since December 2015.
