Fulham v. Chelsea
This one may be tougher to call than you might think. While Chelsea have lost just one of their 28 Premier League meetings with Fulham, Frank Lampard’s men are on a poor run – they’ve won once in their last 6 Premier League matches. Fulham meanwhile are unbeaten in their last 6 matches in all competitions and won a point at Tottenham last time out.
Sheffield United v. Tottenham
Sheffield United finally have their first Premier League win of the season. In fact, Chris Wilder’s men have won 2 straight games in all competitions. They’ll now take on a Tottenham team who’ve won just once in their last 6 Premier League matches. Of note – Sheffield United beat Spurs at Bramall Lane back in July.
Liverpool v. Manchester United
Entering the weekend, Liverpool and archrivals Manchester United are the top-2 teams in the table, and are the 2 highest scorers in the Premier League this season. While Liverpool are winless in their last 3 Premier League matches, they’re unbeaten in their last 4 Premier League games against United.
Manchester City v. Crystal Palace
Manchester City are flying. They’ve won 7 straight matches in all competitions and sit within touching distance of the top of the table. However, they’re winless in their last 2 home meetings against Crystal Palace.
Arsenal v. Newcastle
Last time out, Arsenal played to a dull goalless draw at home to Crystal Palace. They’ll now welcome an out-of-form Newcastle to the Emirates; Steve Bruce’s men are winless in their last 8 games in all competitions.
