Matchweek 24 Previews
MC-TOT
Man City are flying right now – they’ve won 15 straight matches in all competitions, a record by an English top-flight club. Tottenham, meanwhile, did beat West Brom last weekend but only have 4 wins in their last 13 PL matches and were eliminated from the FA Cup on Wednesday by Everton.
ARS-LEE
Goals are proving to be an issue for the Gunners: they’ve scored 1 or fewer in 5 of their last 7 matches in all comps. They now face Leeds, who are in good form and have one of the best strikers in the league: Patrick Bamford.
EVE-FUL
Carlo Ancelotti’s men enter the weekend just 3 points off the top-4, but they could be without star striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin for a while due to a hamstring injury. Fulham, meanwhile, have never won a league match at Everton and have gone 194 PL minutes without a goal.
WHU-SHU
It’s been a terrific season for West Ham: they already have the same number of points (and more wins) than they had all last season. They face a Sheffield United team who are still bottom of the table even though they’ve certainly improved over recent weeks.
CHE-NEW
The Chelsea renaissance continues under Thomas Tuchel as the Blues are unbeaten in their first 5 matches under their new boss. Newcastle, meanwhile, beat Southampton last weekend but are now expected to be without top scorer Callum Wilson for 6-8 weeks with a hamstring injury.
