Leicester City are cruising right along with just one loss in their last 8 Premier League matches, and advanced to the FA Cup Semi-Finals before the international break. Though Brendan’s Rodgers men defeated the current league leaders, 5-2, back in September, Man City have won 25 of their last 26 matches in all competitions.
ARS-LIV
Before the international break, Arsenal came from three goals down at West Ham to salvage a draw. The Gunners are unbeaten in their last 4 Premier League matches but still sit 9 points off the top-4. As for Liverpool, they’re five points off the Champions League places and have won just 2 of their last 8 league games in what’s been a disappointing title defense.
NEW-TOT
Newcastle are fully in a relegation scrap. They’ve won 2 of their last 20 matches in all competitions and sit just 2 points above the bottom-3. Three points would be massive for their survival hopes this weekend against Tottenham, who have won 4 of their last 5 Premier League games and sit just 3 points off the top-4.
MU-BHA
Man United were bounced from the FA Cup Quarter-Finals before the international break, another shot at a trophy lost. Still, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men sit in 2nd place and haven’t lost in the Premier League since late January. They host Brighton, who are coming off two straight wins to move them 6 points above the drop zone. The Seagulls would feel much safer with another win, though they’ve never won at Old Trafford.
WOL-WHU
Wolves are winless in their last 4 Premier League matches but should feel comfortable sitting 9 points above the relegation zone. They’ll face a West Ham side that squandered a 3-goal lead last time out to draw, a result that put a damper on their top-4 chances. The Hammers, sitting 5th, are seeking their first league “double” over Wolves in nearly a century.
