Liverpool v. Bournemouth

After drawing their 2nd straight match Monday at West Ham, Liverpool have now dropped points in 3 of their last 5 games and find themselves in 2nd for the first time since early December. While the Reds have played 1 fewer match than current leaders Man City, the pressure is beginning to mount as Liverpool look to capture their first top-flight title since the 1989-90 season. Bournemouth’s woes away from Vitality Stadium continued last weekend as the Cherries lost 2-0 at Cardiff, marking their 8th straight away loss in all comps. It doesn’t get any easier on Saturday, as Liverpool haven’t lost a PL home match in close to 2 years. Fortunately for Bournemouth, they still sit firmly in the middle of the pack, out of the threat of relegation.

Huddersfield Town v. Arsenal

Arsenal dropped to 6th place following their loss at Man City on Sunday. They are now 3 points outside the top-4, but have a golden opportunity to close that gap against last-place Huddersfield, whose chances of Premier League survival look to be growing slimmer with each passing match. The Terriers find themselves rock bottom of the table, 13 points from safety.

Watford v. Everton

Neither club comes into this match in particularly good form. Everton have lost 7 of their last 10 Premier League matches, while Watford have only claimed 1 win in their last 7 in the league. The focus will be on Everton manager Marco Silva, who returns to Vicarage Road for the first time since leaving Watford to take the Everton job this summer.

Tottenham v. Leicester City

Tottenham left it late once again against Newcastle last weekend, with Heung-Min Son scoring an 83rd minute winner to secure a third straight Premier League win for Spurs. Son has been in great form for Tottenham in the absence of Harry Kane. Leicester City, on the other hand, are winless in their last 5 matches in all competitions and have won just 5 of their last 21 as Claude Puel remains under pressure at the King Power.

Manchester City v. Chelsea

Manchester City moved top of the table thanks to their midweek win over Everton. However, they have played one more match than Liverpool and only sit above the Reds on goal difference. They’ll face a big test in Chelsea, who are coming off a 5-0 win over Huddersfield last weekend. That win featured a brace from Gonzalo Higuain, who faces his first true test with Chelsea on Sunday against the defending champions.
