Tottenham Hotspur v. Crystal Palace

Spurs’ season is off to an unconvincing start, as they are winless in their last 3 matches, including a spoiled 2-0 lead in the North London Derby last time out. Recent history is on their side however, as they host a Crystal Palace team that they have beaten in 8 straight Premier League encounters. The Eagles enter on good form though, winning both of their last 2 Premier League matches.

Norwich City v. Manchester City

The two-time defending Premier League champions continue to cruise, as they are unbeaten in their last 18 Premier League matches. They now travel to Norwich, where they have also gone unbeaten in their last 7 league visits. For Norwich City, it’s been a challenging start to life back in England’s top division. They have lost 3 of their first 4 Premier League matches this season, and have conceded more goals than any other team in the league.

Bournemouth v. Everton

Back-to-back Premier League losses heading into the break have left Bournemouth with plenty to work on. However, the Cherries are unbeaten in their 4 PL home meetings against Everton. On the other side, Everton’s solid start to the season continued last time out with a dramatic win over Wolves. Despite never winning at Vitality Stadium in the Premier League, the Toffees have won 8 of their 12 all-time meetings against Bournemouth in all competitions.

Watford v. Arsenal

After back-to-back matches against “big 6” opponents, the Gunners will enjoy a more appealing matchup against Watford. Arsenal have won 3 straight meetings against the Hornets without conceding a single goal. To add to that, Watford have the fewest goals in the Premier League this season and sit in last place in the early going, still in search of a first win this campaign.

Aston Villa v. West Ham United

Aston Villa have lost 3 of their first 4 Premier League matches this season as they have struggled to adapt to the demands of being back in the top-flight. Conversely, West Ham are off to their best start in 7 years, and a win in this match would make it their best start in over a decade. The Hammers will look to club-record signing Sebastien Haller to lead the attack once again, as he has scored 3 goals in his last 2 appearances.
