Manchester United v. Manchester City
Though Manchester United are coming off a week in which they were knocked out of the Champions League, do Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have the advantage in Saturday’s derby? After all, they sit higher than City in the table, have won 4 straight Premier League games and beat their crosstown rivals in 3 of their 4 meetings in all competitions last season.
Everton v. Chelsea
While Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 17 games in all competitions, Everton have won just once in their last 7. But it’s worth noting – Everton have won this fixture in each of the last 2 seasons.
Crystal Palace v. Tottenham
Top-of-the-table Tottenham haven’t lost in the league since opening weekend. That seems unlikely to change on Sunday at Selhurst Park, especially when you consider that Crystal Palace are winless in their last 10 Premier League meetings with Spurs.
Fulham v. Liverpool
On paper, this seems like an easy one to predict. Liverpool boast the Premier League’s best attack, while Fulham have the league’s 2nd-worst defense. Plus – Liverpool have won their last 6 meetings with Fulham by an aggregate score of 18-4.
Arsenal v. Burnley
Goals may be tough to come by at the Emirates on Sunday. Arsenal and Burnley are two of the Premier League’s four lowest-scoring teams this season. But it’d be tough to go with anything but an Arsenal win here – they’ve won their last 9 home meetings with Burnley across all competitions.
