Burnley v. Norwich City

Norwich City are coming off undoubtedly the result of the season so far, and one of the most surprising results in Premier League history. After shocking 2-time defending champions Manchester City, Daniel Farke’s men will now travel to Burnley. Expect goals in any game involving Norwich – they’ve conceded a league-high 12 goals this season, but have scored 9 – only Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea have scored more. Meanwhile, Burnley will be looking to snap a 4-match Premier League winless streak – they haven’t won since opening weekend.

Newcastle v. Brighton

Don’t expect a lot of goals in this one – Brighton and Newcastle have combined to score a total of 4 goals over their 4 previous Premier League meetings. Brighton are unbeaten in those 4 matches (2 wins, 2 draws) – the Seagulls have never lost a Premier League game against Newcastle.

West Ham v. Manchester United

Manchester United picked up a badly needed win last weekend against Leicester. Now they’ll travel down to England’s capital to take on West Ham, a fixture that’s given Manchester United some problems over recent years. They’ve lost on 2 of their last 4 Premier League visits to West Ham, including a 3-1 loss in this fixture last season.

Chelsea v. Liverpool

Chelsea host Liverpool in the game of the weekend. Liverpool have taken 15 points from 15 available this season, and have opened up a 5-point gap at the top of the table – the largest after 5 matches in Premier League history. Meanwhile, Tammy Abraham’s hat trick led Chelsea to a 5-2 win at Wolves last weekend. We’re all but guaranteed for goals in this one – games involving Chelsea this season have produced 22 goals, the joint-most in the Premier League. Also of note, Liverpool have lost just 1 of their last 9 Premier League meetings with the Blues.

Arsenal v. Aston Villa

Arsenal’s Premier League struggles continued last weekend at Watford, where they let a 2-goal lead slip in a 2-2 draw. After winning their first 2 matches of the season, the Gunners are now winless in their last 3 in the league. On Sunday they’ll return home to face newly promoted Aston Villa, who have won just once in their first 5 Premier League matches, scoring just 4 total goals in those games – only Crystal Palace have scored fewer this season (3).
