Leeds v. Manchester City
While Leeds have won back-to-back Premier League games, Manchester City are coming off a 5-2 thumping at the hands of Leicester. We should be in for some goals at Elland Road. Both Leeds and Manchester City are two of the most attack-minded teams in the Premier League and have each shown they have vulnerabilities at the back.
Wolves v. Fulham
After a season-opening win at Sheffield United, Wolves have lost their last 3 matches across all competitions. But if there’s ever a game to help turn it around, it’s at home to Fulham, who’ve yet to pick up a point in their 3 Premier League matches and have conceded 10 goals in the process.
Arsenal v. Sheffield United
Despite Arsenal’s loss at Liverpool on Monday, there’s still a positive feeling around the Emirates. Mikel Arteta’s men progressed to the EFL Cup Quarter-Finals on Thursday (at the expense of Liverpool) and will now return home to take on Sheffield United, who have 0 points – and 0 goals – in the Premier League this season.
Manchester United v. Tottenham
Jose Mourinho returns to Old Trafford when his Tottenham visit Manchester United. It’s been an underwhelming start to the Premier League season for both clubs – United needed a late stoppage-time penalty to beat Brighton last weekend, while Tottenham are coming off a draw at home to Newcastle. Of note, Manchester United are unbeaten in their last 3 meetings with Spurs.
Aston Villa v. Liverpool
Two of the Premier League’s remaining perfect teams will meet on Sunday when Aston Villa host Liverpool. It’s a fixture that Liverpool have dominated of late – the Reds have won their last 5 Premier League meetings with Villa by an aggregate score of 15-3.
